The Co-operative Bank has taken the decision to end its partnership with UNISON relating to current account, mortgage and savings products (including mortgages taken out with Britannia) with effect from 30 September 2015.
When the partnership ends, the bank plans to transfer existing savings customers to alternative bank products; they will write to customers to provide full details of what this means for them.
Customers with a UNISON member mortgage account opened before 25 February 1999 will continue to receive the standard variable rate discount of 0.25% for the life of the mortgage with the bank (excluding offset savings and lifetime tracker deals). The bank has no plans to change the standard variable rate discount of 0.25% for other customers.
