The survey will enable all relevant NHS organisations to have their say on the nursing and midwifery profiles.
The aim of the survey is to gather up-to-date information on nursing and/or midwifery roles that have been matched or evaluated over the past three years.
It is essential that UNISON branches are involved in the completion of the survey. You can help by:
- Talking to your HRD about how they plan to complete the survey in partnership
- Consulting with JE practitioners about their experience of using the profiles
- Identifying any areas where you have had difficulty matching posts or where you think the profiles should be updated or amended
- Thinking about the following questions:
- Is the qualification or evidence of experience in the profile up to date?
- Are job examples in the profiles relevant to current nursing and midwifery roles?
- Are some profiles not used?
UNISON will continue to keep you updated with the review, including informing you of any consultations on new nursing and midwifery profiles.
