Are you an experienced job evaluation lead or practitioner?
The NHS Job Evaluation Group (JEG) is setting up a reference/ advisory group in England* to support its work. The group is to be made up of people with good operational knowledge of and/ or responsibility for job evaluation. We want to ensure there is good representation from UNISON staff side leads and experienced practitioners.
The group will be virtual at first, but the longer term aim is to develop local groups who may choose to meet face to face.
JEG will use the group as a source of expertise and intelligence, for example, sense checking draft profiles or handbook changes but will also offer training and support to the group as well as early notification of JE issues and news.

There will be a webinar on the 10th February for those who are signed up to the group. The webinar aims to introduce group members to the new resources that will be available shortly on the NHS employer website.
*Scotland, Wales and NI have their own JE groups and networks which function effectively in monitoring the scheme and its application in the devolved nations.
