Welcoming Overseas Nurses to UNISON webinar

Thousands of nurses from overseas are being recruited to work in the UK. It’s important that they join UNISON to get access to all the support and help we can provide.

It’s always a challenge for health branches to meet and recruit new members.

This next webinar is on Thursday 27 June, 7.00-8.30pm and will involve experienced UNISON reps, diasporic organisation leads and current overseas nursing members so that new overseas nurses can find out more about the union and have their questions answered.

Please encourage overseas nurses in your branch to attend. The webinar is open to members and non-members.

UNISON’s Local Government Service Group Executive Committee has agreed to hold a Local Government Service Group Conference on Sunday 16th June to Monday 17th June 2024. We have now opened the Online Conference System (OCS) to allow branches to register delegates and submit motions in line with the rule-book requirements.
