Meet other Deaf (BSL native) members including your reps on the National Disabled Members Committee. These meetings have been arranged to allow space for members from under-represented groups within disabled members self-organisation to network and organise and to ensure they have better access to the disabled members conference agenda.
The meetings allow under-represented groups to identify and discuss their own priorities and submit amendments to motions in line with the conference timetable. There are four network groups – Black members; women members; lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender plus (LGBT+) members; and Deaf (native BSL users) members.
This is a free event taking place at The Crowndale Centre, 218 Eversholt St, London NW1 1BD.
