Cuts to probation service funding
(30/10/07) The government’s Comprehensive Spending Review, announced in early October, will see major cuts in probation financing for the next three years. Some in the probation service are predicting that these cuts could see a reduction in staffing of up to 10% or 2000 jobs.A6148: Circular: A6148.pdf
