Senior managersModernising the NHS requires investment in NHS management. Improving access to primary care services, reducing waiting lists, promoting better integration with social services and monitoring the quality of care all increases demands on NHS management. UNISON is continuing to call for the government to make an explicit recognition of the role that high quality management can play in delivering quality patient care.
