UNISON members working in professions regulated by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) have an opportunity to put themselves forward as council members.
The HCPC is a regulator for health and care professionals, and is currently looking to appoint four members of its council, including three lay members and one registrant member, with a particular interest in cadidates from Wales and Northern Ireland.
UNISON is encouraging members to apply for these roles before the closing date of 5pm on Friday 12 September.
This would include members who work as therapists, biomedical scientists, chiropodists and podiatrists, clinical scientists, dieticians, hearing aid dispensers, operating department practitioners, orthoptists, paramedics, physiotherapists, registered psychologists, prosthetists and orthotists, radiographers or social workers (in England).
